Expansion of Border Management Information System (BMIS) |

Summary
IOM Yerevan implemented this project that expanded the state of the art Border Management Information System (BMIS) operational at the Yerevan International Airport up to the Bagratashen checkpoint. The purpose of the BMIS, supported by IOM in many stages of its development, is to provide information and analysis to the Government of Armenia for border control, migration statistics, and law enforcement while adhering to the best international practice in traveller facilitation.
