Summary

The main objective of the MOST-project is to facilitate quicker and better integration of refugees who come directly from crises or unstable life situations to one of the EU member states. The project was launched in the beginning of December 2006 and is coordinated by the Finnish Ministry of Labour. The project benefits from the cooperation of several EU-member states, namely Finland, Sweden, Spain and Ireland.

IOM Helsinki, together with UNHCR and ECRE, participates in the project as member of the Steering Committee. The Committee will meet five times during the course of the project and amongst other things it will oversee the project implementations and provide support and advice when needed.

The project receives funding from the European Refugee Fund.
