This project aims to create an internal ‘depersonalized’ database that facilitates information sharing on trafficking victims by creating and introducing a unified data collection instruments/comparable databases in NGOs and other counter-trafficking organizations in Lithuania. Project activities consist of a ‘preparation’ and an ‘implementation’ phase. During the 'preparation' phase the data collection systems in the main counter-trafficking and assistance service providing organizations is assessed after which data collection problems and information gaps are then identified.
In the 'implementation' phase, an in-depth analysis of the data collection tools and databases from selected NGOs in different parts of Lithuania will take place. Best practices are established and leasons learned will be used as a development tool for the creation of the database itself. Expert interviews will also take place on existing gaps, on difficulties and problems in access to data, data comparability problems, and possibilities to overcome them.
