Summary

The project sensitized youth to the problem of trafficking in persons and drew their attention to possible risks. The project gave youth information on legal and safe opportunities to study or work abroad and information on how to distinguish legitimate job offers from fraudulent ones. Teachers were also given information on trafficking for use in schools. Project activities included a project launching session and media plan; information and training seminars for teachers; in-school information sessions on the risks of trafficking for youth aged 14-18; and screenings of the movie “Lilja 4-Ever,” which contains a counter-trafficking message.
