Special training in shoe design gives a returned Georgian migrant from the Czech Republic a chance to settle down in his homeland, despite the difficult economic conditions and the general lack of opportunities.

Summary

The project, "Reintegration of Refused Asylum Seekers and Illegal Migrants Returning Voluntarily to Georgia – Prevention of Repeated Irregular Migration and Stabilization of Potential Migrants (AVR)", aims at contributing to the successful and sustainable reintegration of Georgian migrants returning voluntarily from the Czech Republic and preventing repeated irregular migration from Georgia. Since 2003, IOM Tbilisi has assisted 33 returned migrants to reintegrate in their communities.
