The CBMM III project is a continuation of the Comprehensive Training on Migration Management for Members of the Afghan Parliament and the later Capacity-Building on Migration Management for the Afghan National Assembly and Civil Service projects. Both projects were funded by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.
The project seeks to continue supporting and dveloping the capacities of the National Assembly and Government of Afghanistan to comprehensively address Afghanistan's complex migration-related issues and challenges. This will be achieved through enhancing the above entities' understanding of migration management as a cross-cutting and inter-institutional subject. Specifically, the project will provide targeted trainings to Members of Parliament and the staff of two ministries dealing with migration issues, as well as a high-level study visit to Finland for Members of Parliament.
